University of Windsor Chapter

Chapters are the beating heart of EWB. Across Canada chapter members are taking thoughtful and strategic actions to create profound social change in their universities, companies, and communities.

EWB Windsor is a student organization at the University of Windsor. We are a vibrant community of students, professionals, and fellows, with a unique approach to global development – addressing root causes to create lasting change. The Windsor chapter is one of 39 across Canada working together to eradicate systemic poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.

At EWB Windsor, we have five ventures: Campus Outreach, Evolving Engineering, Food Systems (which includes a partnership with Fair Trade Windsor), Major Events, and Youth Engagement.

We also host three flagship events: the Run to End Poverty, Gala, and Youth Conference. In the 2016-2017 year, EWB Windsor hosted the Southwestern Ontario Retreat (S.W.O.R.), in which EWB’ers from 7 chapters in the Southwestern Ontario region came together in Windsor for a fun and informative weekend.
